From Textbooks to Taverns: Integrating Dungeons & Dragons in Academic Libraries
Our proposed Podcast episode would talk about practical tips to start a tabletop roleplaying program (in this case specifically a Dungeons & Dragons campaign) in an academic library. This would include everything from acquiring and creating essential materials, learning the rules, selecting an appropriate introductory adventure, devising effective promotional strategies, establishing a scheduling system, and managing an active session. We would also explore the benefits that a tabletop group could bring to the library, and the unique advantages and disadvantages to doing so in an academic library. This is a joint podcast with Adam Alley.
